A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Totally Not Flappy Bird is a much simpler project based on the hit mobile game Flappy Bird. This project was a lot of fun to make and I now have a better understanding of how addicting mobile games can be lol.

The controls are simple, just spacebar to jump. I hope you enjoy :)

Install instructions

Windows: 

  1. Download and unzip to open the application

Mac: 

  1. Download and unzip
  2. Locate the .app file and try to double-click to open
  3. If that doesn't work, right click and click Open
  4. If that doesn't work, open your terminal and enter the following:
    1. sudo chmod -R 755 /path/to/your/Game.app
      1. /path/to/your/Game.app can look like /Downloads/FlappyBirdv1.2.app
  5. Attempt to open the .app file again. You may need to right click and hit Open to get it to run

Hopefully, these instructions help but feel free to reach out if not. I've learned that getting games to run on MacOs can be very tricky.
